Profile: Ashwin Sanghi is an Indian writer and entrepreneur, born in Mumbai. He completed his education at St.Xavier’s College, Mumbai, The Cathedral & John Connon School and Yale University.

Ashwin Sanghi wrote, The Rozabal Line, his debut book which was around 47 publishers and agents rejected. Later on, he self-published this book, under an anagram of his name – the pseudonym Shawn Haigins. Westland later picked up the book after which Ashwin Sanghi has been publishing one bestseller after another. For 2 years his book Chanakya’s Chant was on the AC Nielsen’s Top 10.

The Krishna Key, Chanakya’s Chant and The Rozabal Line are his three best-selling novels. He is one of the finest best-selling conspiracy fiction writers of India. Ashwin has been hailed as the Indian Brown for this two works, The Krishna Key and The Rozabal Line.

In 1993, Ashwin joined his family business. In 2006 he wrote his first novel and then continued to pursue his career as businessman and writer, both. He chose writing as his parallel career a trend similar in many young businessmen and professionals.
