Unique Stylistic Features: In the Devil’s Territory (published by Dzanc Books, 2008) is Kyle Minor’s short fiction debut collection which was about ways in which ‘personal secrets always impose a huge price. The novella, A Day Meant to Do Less was selected for Houghton Mifflin’s Best American Mystery Stories 2018 anthology by George Pelecanos.

Praying Drunks (published by Sarabande Books, 2014) is his second collection of short fiction which has been described by Publishers Weekly as often ‘a funny, dazzling, captivating and emotional puzzle’.

Kyle Minor has also written a biweekly column for in the year 2013-2014. At one time, one film deal of Kyle Minor fell through after which he wrote about driving for Uber.
