He is popularly known for his portrayal of Floyd Lawton / Deadshot in ‘Arrow’ the television series. After being influenced by his father who performed in a band, Machael too took up drumming at the tender age of six years. He started his career as part of ‘Bucket Truck’ a punk/metal band from the year 1996 to the next ten years. Michael broke up with Andrew his brother and made a decision to enter filmmaking though initially he experienced a tough time in getting his name signed as it sounding similar to Mike Rowe, the host of Dirty Jobs. Though he acted for just around 5 years, he was cast in the television series, Arrow, as the DC comics Character, Deadshot, right away. For four years Michael played Deadshot after which he discontinued the series, thought he did express his desire of coming back to Arrow. Later Michael Rowe was cast as the character Ninjak in the Valiant Comics. He has also starred in a movie co-written by him and Andrew, ‘Crown and Anchor’.
